Stanislav Degtyarev

I was commissioned by director and artistic leader Henk Guittart to photograph the magnificent Orlando Festival in Kerkrade. The venues were exceptionally beautiful, and their libraries, ornate ceilings and decorative walls created the impression of travelling back in time.

This portrait was taken during a masterclass with the Eurasia Quartet. It features cellist Stanislav Degtyarev, a member of the ensemble.
